Our Service is intended for content creators, marketers, and businesses seeking to improve their content strategy through AI-powered insights.

User Accounts and Responsibilities

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• One account per person or entity

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Submit malicious content, spam, or harmful material
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our algorithms

Payment Terms

Subscription Plans

• We offer free and paid subscription plans with different usage limits
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

Billing and Renewals

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You will be charged the current subscription fee upon renewal
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• All billing cycles begin immediately upon subscription activation

Refund Policy

• No General Refunds: We do not provide refunds for subscription fees once paid, as you can fully test our service with free analysis before subscribing
• Unauthorized Charges: Refunds may be considered for demonstrably unauthorized or fraudulent charges with proper documentation
• Billing Errors: Technical billing errors (duplicate charges, incorrect amounts) will be corrected and refunded
• Service Issues: In rare cases of extended service outages affecting your entire billing period, partial credits may be considered
• Early Cancellation: Cancelling within 24 hours of initial subscription without service usage may qualify for refund consideration

All refund requests must be submitted to support@contentgoal.app with detailed explanation and will be reviewed case-by-case.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You retain access to paid features until the end of your billing period
• Free plan users may delete their accounts at any time

Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you submit to our Service
• You grant us a limited license to process your content for providing our Service
• You represent that you have the right to submit the content you provide
• You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights

Our Content

• The Service, including all software, algorithms, and AI models, is our intellectual property
• Generated insights and recommendations are provided for your use but remain part of our Service
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software or algorithms

Service Availability and Changes

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContentGoal shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use of AI-generated recommendations
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Actions taken based on our insights or recommendations

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

By You

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and deleting your account through the Service.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• Your payment method fails and is not updated
• You engage in abusive or illegal behavior
• We discontinue the Service (with 30 days' notice)

Effect of Termination

• Your access to the Service will be immediately revoked
• We may delete your account data after a reasonable period
• You remain liable for any outstanding fees
• Provisions regarding intellectual property and liability survive termination
